Your Proactive Vehicle Assistant
JARVIS is a virtual intelligence software at the heart of ITV UI. He can control just about anything on your display. Music, reservations, gps, and even your home thermostat are easily controlled by your voice. Jarvis is also your digital driving assistant. He can tell you traffic reports, notify you when you have been driving for too long or are driving erratically, and can even suggest rest stops and add them to your GPS route.
Reserve Your Life.
Reservations is an intuitive new way of reserving while on the road. Controlled by JARVIS, you simply tell him your name, seating amount, preferred seating arrangements, and the name of the restaurant and JARVIS will quickly pull up what is available. If there is no seating available, JARVIS will recommend three similar restaurants. If JARVIS is unable to find the restaurant, he will ask for the address and give different possible names than what he heard.
Your Music, Your Way.
ITV Music is an easy to use system that connects to any phone or music device. In addition to connecting to physical devices, ITV Music also connects to accounts such as Apple Music, Microsoft Groove, and Pandora. Not only does it connect to your favorite sources of music, it combines them and allows them to share among each other. For instance, if you had a song or playlist on your iTunes library and you connect ITV Music to iTunes and Microsoft Groove, your song or playlist will automatically be added to the Microsoft Groove library..
One Button to Rule Them All
When it comes to simplicity, hardware is just as important as software. That is why we wanted to create the simplest interaction method for using ITV UI while driving. One Dial is the only button needed to interact with ITV UI. Simply turn left or right to hover over applications and press to select them. In addition to One Dial, we also have voice activation and steering wheel controls.
In With the Old, In With the New
For over 150 years, personal music devices have evolved to give us the best music experience possible, but what can we do to improve how we travel through our music. The answer, surprisingly enough, lies in our past. Introducing Timeline, the evolution of music travel. Inspired by old radio tuner strings, Timeline is a revolutionary new method of going through music that replaces fast forwarding and rewinding. Simply click on the timeline icon and turn the dial left or right to travel through the timeline of your music as it is playing; the speed depends on how fast you turn the dial. The interface is so precise, it can get the exact part of the song you want down to the nearest millisecond.
